"advertising Space" a marketing opportunity..

A mother had her forehead tattooed with a gambling website called Goldenplace.com. She auctioned it off for $ 10,000 to pay for her son's private school fees.
Karolyne Smith has a permanent billboard on her forehead after accepting an offer of $10,000 from the company. Her eBay auction attracted more than 27,000 hits, bidding reached $999.99 before Goldenpalace.com met Smith's $10,000 asking price. Goldenpalace.com also gave her another $5,000 for her trouble.

Anything for money!

Interesting how she'd do that to support her kid's school fees. oh well, like you said, anything for money.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this. I mean it's for a good cause, but imagine her walking around with it, no way she'd go by without getting noticed.

it's definitely a head turner.

Economics prevails...

Where there is demand for stupidity (eBay auction result as confirmation of this) then there no doubt will be some supply (trailer park lady who did it for a good cause)

Funnier still would be if the Casino sued her

I respect the ingenuinity :>

Why would they sue her though?
did you mean if they decided to sue her for any reason later on ?.. if that's the case then she's screwed unless she removes it by lazer, and from what we could tell she doesn't have the money for it.
She better keep them happy :P

Delicately Realistic,

you can't deny that it's a unique idea, but there's a thin line between unique and insane!! :)

I totally agree. mothers sacrifice alot for the sake of their kids well being.

but that was an extreme measure wouldn't you think?
